“Grid Boys” at Australian Grand Prix

Oh my, Grid Boys? Here it is, the [tag]Australian Grand Prix[/tag] will be adding something new this year. [tag]Grid Boys[/tag]!

This is 2008 and ‘man candy’ is going to be used to luer more female fans to the grand prix. Womens groups in Australia are jumping for joy and saying it’s about time.
Featuring pit babes on blogs is kind of fun, but I don’t think I’ll be featuring Grid Boys any time soon.:)

Drew Ward, CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation said

“We know there’s a lot of hidden talent in Melbourne’s suburbs.”

Melbourne breakfast radio host Chrissie Swan said it was a win for women’s rights.

“[tag]Grid girls[/tag] have been a great stable for footy players because I think that’s where they get their girlfriends.”
“It may be nice for the girls to have that option now. I’m all for equality, so it’s a good thing.”
