I also see BMW Sauber a bit faster than McLaren now, but the advantage may shift from one to the other depending on the track.

I want to see what will happen in Monaco as that is the first track ahead where Ferrari struggled last year...

The critics in F1 almost want BMW-Sauber to fail to prove their point that it takes many years to produce a consistently winning team. I see a faster development in BMW-Sauber than I do in both Ferrari and McLaren, but it will taper off eventually but not until a wake up call is given to Ferrari and McLaren.

I think that BMWs are actually marginally quicker than McLarens now. Their weakness is their starts and this tends to put them behind the McLarens from the beginning, from where they can only hope for luck in the pitstops or a mistake from Hamilton or Kovalainen to enable them to get past; the performance of the cars is really that close.

So, if BMW can get the car to put down its power at the start as efficiently as the McLaren, they should emerge ahead. I believe they will do so anyway as the season wears on and their pace of development exceeds that of both McLaren and Ferrari. That's where I differ from the "experts" - they think that BMW will not be able to keep pace with the development of the big two, I say that BMW have already demonstrated greater pace than either in catching up to them. We shall see.
